Plus Two Run

The Plus Two Run is finally over and all our kids have done well.
Congrajulations to our bloggers Sajit and Aswatha. And to Samyuktha.
Highest honours go to Deepak, Mano's son who has done brilliantly.

Cheer up kids if you think you could have done better. Your parents were nowhere close.

10k

Its all or nothing...

Uthra and i took part in a 10k run...we walked -yesterday....People complete it in 30 mins on, we did it in 21/2 hrs...my usual time in the last 4 years is 1.50mins. So i blame the delay on uthra...
She was pretty good and didnt wine too much...

3 posts in 5 mins....the first for this year, i have one in draft about the india trip

Mama is going to be upset when he hears that i have broadcast the news...instead of sending it via the grapvine in 90sc style..... ( chendi like the short form -90sc)

Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said, "Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land".

Now Obama has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels, and mortgaged the Promised Land!

I was so depressed last night thinking about health care plans, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, savings, social security, retirement funds, etc. So, I called Lifeline, the suicide help line.

Got a freakin' call center in Pakistan and when I told them I was suicidal, they all got excited and asked if I could drive a truck...

This is a mural I've been painting on one bit of the compound wall. Since the masons are still working on the revetment wall and I have to stay home most of the time, seems a good way to use my time.

The workers have been asking me very puzzledly what it means. I could say it means people are like the flowers - each one very different and each one beautiful. :-)
