We are all one

So, finally after a lot of debate, the newest addition has been named and please welcome
Advaith Prashanth to the family.

absolute truth

We had the naming function on Sunday attended by a small crowd of 20which admired Advait sufficiently. Baby's grandparents, greatgrandfather, grandaunt, new chitti and chittpaa were there.And Anandhi.. what do you call her..paati?. Rakesh's parents too were good enough to come all the way bearing payasam for all, black Hawa which was grabbed by all, fish for Dachu and a gold bracelet for the baby.

Appa when asked to pronounce the name was asking...'what Advice???'
other people who find it equally dificult may call him 'Addy' as in Ossy.

HI, I know I know I have been remiss in informing people about the new arrival. But it was hectic and it still is. Im only having this break because Prashanth decided to turn up as a delightful surprise here suddenly. And now takes care of the baby so much that I can do other things.

Rudra alias Pavithran alias Satvik alias Advait alias Vashist ( please indicate your vote) will be getting named on Sunday here at Ooty while his Dad is here.
Anyone who can make it here is welcome.

Rudra is a night baby so far.. staying awake most of the night. Dachu is still in a daze and yet to recover fully from the cycle of pain and staying awake .

He is wearing a sweater set knitted by Vishy's Mom.

welcome to the new arrival,


so lets welcome the new addition. born a bit early,taking everybody by suprise ,but of good weight probably the australian air!!!!!!!!

congrats to the proud parents,and grand parents.
kalai is the first visitor to brave the travel up the mountain to greet the new arrival.
kalu is of course in the midst of the crisis between managing family and home.
and of course pc is probably dropping in to and fro between clinic and hospital.

bringing a new born into the world now a days in such a nuclear set up is not as easy or as pleasant as before.
theres no time to stop and help

Rudra (alias johnny) was born at 1:05 pm. at 2.9kgs, screaming and happy :)
