High Achievers
Just to add that Anya has got A* across the board in all her subjects. Women and Girls in our family are going places, In Anya's case it is very much her mum's brains. Babu

good news
1)Sajit has been selected for the University Cricket team
2) Anandhi is starting on a new job and with great difficulty has torn away from Chennai to take training for 3months in bangalore. This company is for hair transplants so Ram, if you read this you could probably do it cheaper in India:-)))
It also makes me realise how terrific so man;y of the women in our family are - after 40 and 50, they shift to new places and start life fresh... which gets more difficult as we age.
Kudos to Lalli aunty and Sakthi
And to Kalai who started working after she became a grandma
And our wonderful chittis who've become globe trotters
And now Vidya anddn Thambi who are relocating to Hydrebad.
Good wishes to Sandhya and Aditya in their new jobs

Congrajulations Surya

Toilet "Space"
Funny reading about Kapu's toilet troubles, With a Sivananda colony upbringing and all that Rao Sahib laziness we are guilty as charged as far as the toilet is concerned
There is no space more peaceful than the toilet and the time spent there reading either the newspaper,reader's digest, bill bryson is time well spent and sheer bliss
The time spent rises with more children you have ( a kinda avoidance strategy)
I still remember telling kapu lets clean the upstairs toilet when they were just built so that we can say later we struggled when we were young -cleaning toilets etc but little did i realise that even at 40 years plus I am still cleaning toilets here ! Anyway life goes on, but remember there is loads of peace in your toilets, forget meditation this is IT
