saw the film karnan today.

was as thrilling to watch even now.

being a fan of sivaji ,with not too much histronics in this film , rememering the epics ,was great.

and explaining the story to sanju was also good.

krishnas role was more like naradar and i think it was played by nt ramarao.

the reprint was ok too.

i hear that '3' was terrrible . did anybody get to see it.

fishy update

thanks to all those comments.

we hopefully killed of our last fish about a week ago.

we have finally bought a slightly bigger tank and put in a filter and 3 guppies which are surviving for more than 30 days.

i feel great.

of course everyday there is a new object put in to stimulate the intrest of the fishes -courtesy sanjay.

some of them were=

-a glass ganesha.

= metal eiffel tower.

= painted ganesa

= small model guitar won by sajit as a college prize,

-a red wheel,part of a toy submarine,

the list goes on !!!!!!!

everybody will agree that our fishes are highly stimulated lot, with no excuse for boredom.

Looking for advice from across the pond

Hi,

Anya mentioned to me sometime back, that when it comes to universities, she would not be studying in Manchester but would go to University in Leeds, Liverpool or Lancaster all places not more than fifty miles from home.

My advice was if she wants to 'she could study further from home'.

She wants to do Aeronautical Engineering and Music.

She has found Universities where she could do both. It is Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and another one in Boston.

She says she would be eligible for scholarships and grants. I am not sure that they are easy to get are they?

She is quite serious about it. She is taking her SAT exam in the not too distant future.

When she was five we were in Boston on holiday, I was walking in the University Premises and said I was looking for suitable accomodation for her when she was older.

Did not think it might turn true...

We might be travelling to the States later this year.
