Vishy In UK

Saw Vishy in UK, He still is the same ( Thank God- Sorry Karthi ) It was good fun and even though I was there for a few hours only it was like old times. He was with Madhu and Sengole for a week along with his parents, I will let Karthi put the pictures
Madhu and Sengole kids are well behaved and very intelligent , Had a great lunch there
I think that Vishy is lucky that he had the time to laze around with his family
Time flies soon and we will be in retirement mode and then we will be yearning for a wedding or something similar to meet people !!!
Anyway we seem to meet for funerals and weddings only these days !Take care

Ravi

the other day i went to pick up sanju from school.as we had to cross the road i automatically stretched out my hand to help him across and he automatically held it. then he realised  his friends were watching and he shook of my hand and said ' i can cross alone '!!!!.
thats how we embarass our kids. so gg and darshu -u stop holding their hands at 10 years.

babu -- kalu spent more time cursing you for asking us to see pardesi, than actually viewing the movie.especially as we went on tamil new year.

yesterday ,watched my first movie on laptop-courtesy sajit-- initiaating me to the ways of this century!!!!. watched django --was good.

This is one of the deities at our Mariamman festival at Ooty, not the main one which was a poor comparison to this one's grandeur and good humor.

This post has no point..just life flowing around.

Spent a few days at Cbe because Appa was at wit's end about Athai . She is pretty fragile and a little senile too. He wanted hospitalized care for her which would be most sensitive to her needs and better than what she is getting at home. A very tall order . The One Old Age Home I saw was very basic.Three meals and a bed to sleep on. Very frightening. As always, the thought that actually is raging on top is 'what if this happens to me'. Anyway, we ended up with a home nurse who seems alright. Hopefully Appa adjusts to her presence.

Kapu came for the weekend to cbe and we went to see Paradesi and got thoroughly depressed.
Damn Brits, damned Indians and damn poverty and ignorance .
But Im sure there are still horror stories and tragedy still happening in pockets. Exploitation and cruelty  is a part of the human gene maybe whether its people employing bonded labour, or breaking people's bones or enjoying huge bonuses while the rest of the people face unemployment .

Kalai is babysitting for a week in Hyderabad while Gigi studies. Everyone is talking about the heat and no rains. And those interested, about IPL.

Summer and holidays and travel. Hope everyone will enjoy these days.

Moving Again

Hi guys
We have been in Sydney two years and now its time to move again. We are moving to Adelaide, a much smaller town in South Australia because Prashanth's work has him travelling there for four days every week anyway.
I am really not looking forward to packing and unpacking and restarting the painful process of making new friends. But hopefully we will be Ok :)
Meanwhile we took a trip with some friends this easter and did things we have never done before like kayaking and sand boarding. Here are some photographs
