90 sivanandha colony

words will not suffice to describe it, a place where we learned so many things ,by way of practise rather than preaching.
-respect to elders, how all the kids jump up to offer the chairs to elders since there was never enough to go around. even ramesh would compare our kids favourably in this aspect to other friends kids.
--honesty,politeness, courtesy and most of all to respect other people fellings. -
--to share what we had, without complaint and to put other people first.
all these we mostly learned from amma who was the one who controlled and disciplined us.
appa was a far of figure to be treated with respect, until amma was there.
only later he moved to her spot and played both roles ,making excuses to get all of us to come home, keeping us together.
--on a happier note , home is where we took people for granted, athais and their early morning cofee. i buy the same aavin milk ,the same COFEE powder but something is missing when i make it--the love and affection ????.
---i remember rushing to school with appa, shoes socks and ribbons and sometimes even breakfast would be in the car. for he would not wait even a single sssecond .
--- chitis chitappas dropping in at all hours with loads of snacks gifts and laughter.
---cousins at every holiday. the games, the fights and picnics.
---through this all appa went unfailingly to the clinic to keep the house going. we dint appreciate the sacrifice then , i do now.

its the qualities that we learnt there that has kept me going and able to face the world with a head held high.
sivanandha colony---i wouldnt exchange it for any other place--- lets keep it the same.
