Three cheers to Kallu

A big and hearty thanks to kallu for starting the blog, chiding us for not writing enough no of times and keeping things going with different stuff,
I normally type 90 sivananda colony in google and reach the site from different places - work etc
and find the moment you type 90 siva you get the blog !!!
I prefer to keep things public as we will not write things too private anyway and I dont see any reason to block people from iceland visiting  us - why not !!!
I cant think of any post in the last year that would have significant issues and I am unable to log in everytime to see the post due to work restrictions - through google is easier
I think this a busy time in every one life with work etc and hopefully we will start chirping away
I would like to thank the regular bloggers like Goutham, Kapu and the others for keeping things going with your varied comments.

Just a quick comment on Medha's actions - Aswatha's account !

She stood in the bathroom and kept moving her head in a circle and Ash stood behind her watching her ,
Ash asked her - Why are you moving your head in a circle, She pointed at the exhaust fan ten feet high in the ceiling and said

Ash - see that fan - whenever i move my head it is moving !!

I guess children are funny until they grow up !!!

Happy Anniversary!!

Yes, we have had four glittering years of togetherness on this blog and  are now setting forth on our fifth year .

We can congrajulate ourselves on having written 706 posts and keeping 65 posts as dark secret drafts.

The blog has served as a means of keeping in touch especially for people abroad Im guessing.

We have a few active members
 ( people who share  their lives constantly and openly - Lalli Aunty, Kapu, Kallu, Goutham)
about a dozen members who write once a year or so - Ravi, Babu, Sajit, Nandhika, Karthy,.Thamby, Rakesh, Dachu
24 listed members
and many family members who drop in to get themselves updated but never share or contribute.

We also seem to be getting visitors from vague parts of the world..

There are suggestions we make it a closed community so only people who contribute or who have an invite can read. This might make people more inclined to talk about their lives.

But let us keep this going.

Retirement parties

Pc retired on June 30. So there were a couple of parties. The first pic is at a hotel with some of the docs dancing. sindhu, that is Charanya in the centre. Her father too retired the same day.
About 25 people came home to leave him on the last day. And gave lots of appreciative speeches. And that's why he is looking so happy.
