Gajal's wedding - Kumar's daughter's wedding

Hello all
I had the pleasure to attend Gajal's wedding and was delighted to be a part of such fun and frolic.
It was such a nice gathering of many of their friends and local relatives. It was colourful with great dances - including Kumar's with Gajal for which he had to take special classes but still looked out of place ! Tried his best to make a fist of it
the morning wedding on the beach where a special set was done, bangra dance, traditional music , a tradiional priest , people watching as it was close to a board walk on the beach all added colour to the morning
The evening was typical western wedding with the fucntion at a top Newyork venue
Gotham City Hall, Google it to see its splendour,my pictures doing little justice for the granduer of the stage,
Great dinner and anothe dance after with songs from varied languages inclduing Aruva meesai arumugam paru !!!
have a look at the pictures and hope you enjoy the pictures
Lalli aunty and babu was there and we had a good time together as well

It is from a Spanish store called "Desigual" bought it in Barcelona. The wedding was multicultural, the carrying of the bride/groom on a chair is Jewish, the current Korean rapper hit "Gangnam Style" to our own music with nathaswaram in the morning and "bhaangra" music and dance being played at Gotham City Hall was some of the examples. The bridemaids carried off wearing the saree with style.
The wedding invite had a travel theme, James and Gajal met in Germany. We had a passport to attend the wedding and a boarding pass to sit at our tables, and very exclusive luggage tabs to take with us after the meal. They had traveled quite extensively, we were at the New York table, there were pics of the happy couple on our table.
I told Anya that I can't afford such a lavish wedding, may be just may be Ravi can :)
