No no, we did not create this...right from taking the photos to photoshop editing and adding those cheesy lines - all the work has been done by my old roommate (who is infact feeling happy coz he doesn't have to bear the torture anymore)..

Important News about Sindhu's wedding

Sindhu's wedding is taking place in a Siva/Krishna temple.
And since Keralites have different protocol,

Men are expected to come bare chested to the temple. So bring out your waistis, angavastarams and belts.

Sad for us females to see all your out of shape torsos.

but 3 weeks left .. time to hit the gyms.


DAchu won't be allowed into the temple...apparently kings and even gods in Kerala have to stand up and show respect for pregnant women, so they make things easier for God by not allowing pregnant people in.

Pongalo pongal

Hope everyone had lots of good pongal today. We did. Since both the kids are here, was inspired to cook more than previous years. Our 'poojas' had been getting skimpier and skimpier.

Have made some changes in access to the blog since it seemed uninvited people were wandering in. Right now only authors have access. Or we can make it by invite.

Hi, we are back in UK. I would like to thank everyone who came for the lunch on 26th December, Sorry if I had not given you the time, as a lot have of you had travelled far. I would have liked to spend a lot more time with you all. We had expected 75 guests and the numbers exceeded that.

It was a much nicer send off for Shobha at lunch as the earlier experience at the temple could be described as just dreadful, the religious ceremony and rites were so much better in UK, in an alien country and culture.

hai

i finally passed out of my final year....i am legally half a doctor...!!got an over all of 62percent..i expected to jus get through with 50 %...i am leaving tocollege today...my internship has already started..
all of u wish me luck pls...
thatha gifted me a parker pen and asked me to keep it without finishing the ink for one year...i guess he got to know that i am not gonna write anymore except doing a great job of killing people...

and my mom gifted me with a new touch screen nokia mobile....of course i am trying hard to get used to its functions...got it yesterday evening....

VIVA VOCE !

Hello everyone ,

so my first internals just got over ... and the worst part was definitely the viva voce ...the teachers seemed to really take this opportunity to degrade us to the core .. and even though i studied a bit - i was still made to look like a fool there .. the teachers just seem to talk whatever they want in the viva- suddenly they ask you your native place and then suddenly they blast you for not knowing one or two things =[ My dad keeps saying viva was not a big deal but that's because they didnt have to pass viva... now the new rules are that we have to pass in viva too - any tips anyone ??
