I am highly satisfied with my job,career and have been even in India,I think the pleasure of solving a diagnostic dilemma,getting things right,making mistakes ( hopefully not too often ! )and then seeing where you went wrong ,seeing patients who think the world of you when you have only done a simple routine treatment all matters
So its great now
but the long hours,having no money after even qualification when my friends who had graduated were living like kings etc was tough to watch !
but its worth it
Half the battle in choosing a career is doing something you like and then the rest should follow( this is for the kids )
finally seeing the english they are content with a simple life (They do have the luxury of a protected future)
for example a teacher is happy in teaching even though he earns far less than being a doctor
if you are happy in your job then you are also more likely to be content in life
( money alone doesnt bring happiness - You do have to have some money to say this though ! )
