bhuvaneshwar trip

the trip was good n rejuvenating n an eye opener on sindhu. she has turned from a shy introvert to a confident glowing post graduate. xavier's has done a lot of good to her. attending the convocation sort of makes one feel younger. the dinner served was great. the train journeys where half the time was spent was comfortable n companiable. we missed everyone who was not there.anandi brt a groovy tomatoe chutney over which she had spent 4hrs cooking n stirring on a low flame. kappu cooked a good lunch for us to carry n a better dinner when we returned. her flat is welcoming n the breeze floating in in the evening is like being at the marina. at the jeganath temple we were delayed becos the big b n jaya bachan chose to visit it at the exact time we did. there was no stampede like in t. nadu on seeing him , but the talk all around was didi u see bachan. it had made their visit more fruitful than just seeing god jeganath, just like in slum dog millionaire.
a big thanks to kallu for the invite to join her n the whole lot of trouble she took the past 2 months organising it, booking n cancelling tickets , arranging the hotel stay etc. it was not a trip like say seeing the niagra, or visiting disney land to go ooo haa about. but a good family break n good to have dad too with us. ponni is wanting an all female trip i hear. that sounds good. better it be a day train trip, since that is one of the best part. next in line is sindu's wedding trip. sindu don't curse me but we r all looking forward to it. isn't it so everybody?
