Kuselan - After coming out of the theatre , Dad said 'It was like going to a hotel and expecting a hot and spicy mutton biryani but getting a sambar vada instead'.That basically sums up the whole movie.Rajni Kanth is seen for a couple of microseconds in the movie(if you blink , you miss him), ok fine maybe i'm exagarating a bit but... anyway there was some bald(well he had about as much hair as medha) guy acting as the hero who ironically was a hairdresser , it's incredibly sentiMENTAL and had Nandhika in tears by the end. For me , this event was stored up for future blackmail purposes and since Nandhika did not clean my room on Friday , the information has leaked out*evil laugh*. We saw the movie on the first day and I sat next to some weird guy (a Rajni Kanth fan-definitely weird) .There were a few not-very-funny-actually-lame jokes which had the guy next to me in hysterics, so Dad and I wondered whether to throw our popcorn at him or at the screen..
bottomline- there's an unwritten rule that if a rajnikanth film releases and if you know tamil , you have to see it - so watch it by all means, but buy plenty of pop corn.
